Three remarkable wooden models, commissioned by William Burges, are on display in the cathedral ambulatory.
The models combine exquisite craftmanship with Burges’ extraordinary creative talents to provide a rich and informative overview of the structure and the intricate decorative details of the building.
The models, seen together for the first time in over 150 years, were restored by Conservation Letterfrack through grant funding from the Community Heritage Grant Scheme which is administered by The Heritage Council.
